My name is Ilona Heimann. I was born in 1944
and living in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. I am married with the
artist Frans Strik and we both have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

years ago I became acquaintant with painting on porcelain and
immediately I was enchained.
2 years I took courses and afterwards I went
on independent. At first Peter Faust was my great inspirator and
through his books, I arrived at beautifull paintings. My husband
stimulated me much to improve my porcelain painting.
To day I am very inspired by “Dutch
Pottery”( Gouda Pottery) from the twenties, Art Deco or Art
Nouveau.
I have regular succesful exhibitions together with the works of my
husband.
I hope to continue many years with porcelain painting and my
inspirations in the stories and examples from porcelain painters
in various magazins.
