I will show you pictures of my collection of sand of beaches from all over the world. 
In 1995, after a show on TV, I was fascinated by the difference in color, structure and size.  Since that day I ask friends, who visit a beach, to take a sample of beach-sand for me.  At this moment (mar-2023) my collection is nearby 2400 samples from 140 different countrys.
From the snow-white sand of a  "bounty-beach" at Whitsunday Isl. in Australia, to the deep-black of a lavabeach at Tenerifa, Canarian Isles. The fine sand from the Dutch coasts to the little stones-beach from Monaco or fine coral and shells from the isle of Sumbawa in Indonesia.

Many time I spend for editing the samples and scanning for this website. The results of some samples of them are ready for this moment.
